April 12th, otherwise known as Equal Pay Day, marks how far in the year that women must work to earn what men earned in the previous year. It also means a special TalkPoverty podcast on the rise of unmarried women in America. These days, more and more American women are waiting to put a ring on it – including yours truly, Rebecca and Tracey. This week, we sat down with critically-acclaimed author and journalist Rebecca Traister to discuss this new generation of unwed women and its implications on work, family, and the future of America.
