Due to outdated overtime policies, millions of Americans haven’t been getting paid for all the time they work. But this week the Department of Labor announced important steps to update the rules requiring employers to pay workers time-and-a-half if they work overtime. We’ve got you covered with what you need to know about the new overtime rules and the 12.5 million Americans who will be helped. Later in the episode, we’re joined by the filmmakers who made the short film “A Hug from Paul Ryan” as part of Sundance’s Take 5: Justice in America film series. And we explore how the Zika virus could hit low-income communities the hardest.
